How it works

BreakForthNow builds a CV from the facts you give it, in the format that is usual for the place you’re applying to. Here is each step, as it works today.

  1. Choose a region

    Pick where you’re applying. Available now: Ireland, Nigeria, United States and Gulf (UAE / Saudi Arabia). The region decides which personal details the form asks for, the page size (A4 or US Letter) and the usual length. Where a detail such as date of birth or nationality is customary, it is optional and you decide whether to include it. Where it is usually left out, the form doesn’t show it.

  2. Enter your experience

    Add each role with its dates, and write what you did in your own words, one point per line. Add education and skills if you want them. Only list what is true: the AI rewords what you wrote and is told not to add anything you didn’t state.

  3. Add the job posting, if you have it

    This is optional. Paste the posting and the AI uses it as context for the wording. Nothing from the posting is added to your CV as if it were your experience, and names taken from the posting are removed.

  4. Review the checks and download

    When your CV is ready, its page shows what our checks found:

    • statements we removed because they contained a figure you didn’t provide;
    • wording that uses words not found in your notes, so you can check it;
    • anything left out to fit the page length.

    Read the CV carefully before you send it anywhere. Then download it as a PDF.

What happens to your information

Your experience notes and the job posting are sent to Anthropic, the AI service that writes the wording. Your name, contact details and personal details are not sent to it; they are added to your CV afterwards. You can delete a CV at any time from its page. Deleting is permanent.

What it doesn’t do

It doesn’t invent experience, it doesn’t score your CV for application tracking systems, and it can’t tell you whether you’ll be shortlisted. Regional guidance describes common practice; it isn’t legal advice.

What it costs

Each CV costs one credit. Credits come in prepaid packs: see Pricing. If writing your CV fails, the credit is returned automatically; if you think it wasn’t, contact us. You can cancel unused credits within 14 days of buying them.
